Anujkumar Ghorpade is a doctoral research scholar at Centre for Urban Science and Engineering (CUSE), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, Mumbai, India. His research work focuses on how alternative design and operation strategies will improve the efficiency of Water Distribution Network (WDN). He holds a Master degree in Environmental Engineering from Sardar Vallabhai National Institute of Technology, Surat.

Prior to joining IIT Bombay, he has worked as senior design engineer in Larsen and Toubro for two years. At Larsen and Toubro, he was responsible for design of storm water drains of Airports, Railways and Highways. After completion of his graduation in Civil Engineering, he has spent one and half year in KEC International Limited at Himachal Pradesh, where he executed the civil works for construction of New broad gauge railway line.
