The goal of C-USE is to develop an integrated curriculum and research environment that will help create specialists and leaders for the systemic development and management of the cities. For this purpose, a post graduate program is being developed in consultation with urban experts around the world.
The Centre’s courses will cover urban domains such as transportation, land use, urban design, water, food, public health, urban informatics, governance, etc.
This Centre would also engage in continuing education programs and training for professionals in various sectors including government, non-profit and private sector to build capacity in various fields of urban sciences with state-of-the-art educational facilities and technologies.
This training will adopt the case study method based on real life urban issues with the goal of creating solutions that are technologically advance while employing human-friendly and innovative design strategies.
